Founder and Principal Designer Miriam Layton, NCIDQ, brings years of experience working on residential and hospitality projects in New York City and Los Angeles. Her background spans luxury homes, boutique hotels, restaurants, and close collaboration with architects and builders. After relocating to Salt Lake City, she founded Good Company to offer a more personal, thoughtful approach to design. Good Company is led alongside Managing Director Jordan Layton, whose background in art and storytelling helps guide projects with clarity from start to finish.

We work closely with clients, architects, and builders on ground-up construction and renovations, guiding everything from space planning and material selection to lighting and furnishings. Our team manages procurement and installation with care, ensuring that details are thoughtfully executed and well-coordinated. This comprehensive approach allows each space to feel intentional and shaped around how our clients move through their daily lives.
